Feature Requests

Our storyboard statuses feature allows you to assign statuses to individual storyboards, so you can better organize your pre-production process. We would like to extend this to support client-facing sign-off. Let us know how you would like to see this feature implemented! For example: Should clients be able to change statuses to "Approved"? Would you need storyboard-level comments if a client indicated changes were required by changing the status?

It would be great to be able to view saved assets at their full size rather than squinting at their thumbnails only. Currently you have to download the images or similar to view at full size.

It would be great to be able to organize saved assets into folders, reorganize the asset order, and give the assets names to better manage and track.

Please don't distort it as 16:9 for screenshots. It automatically crops the image

Ability to add a unique tag/name/identifier to images saved in the asset library to use for image generation (also helpful for organization), so for example you could prompt: @character-name-01 picking up the @prop inside the @location, or @character-name-01 and @character-name-02 walking down the street, and the image generator would reference the images tied to those tags in order to generate the scene.

It would be great to be able to quickly merge two storyboards together, or send frames from one to another

It would be nice if I could layer some art on each board easier. I use boords to setup book storyboards for my clients and having a layers panel would make this slightly easier as sometimes I will show more than one option on a panel. I know this isn’t the point of boords but it would make it easier to choose between different options or directions sometimes with lighting or color etc.

All the separated text fields for action / visuals / dialogue / characters / sounds means the information about a scene doesn't flow like we're used to reading in screenplay format. Please allow screen captures directly from a script PDF to sit below storyboard frames, and skip all these disparate text fields.

I am trying to tag another user in the comments using @username or @ email.com , but it's not currently possible. It would be beneficial to have this feature to easily notify team members within the comments.
